OneStarCity is playing THIS FRIDAY night at the Bourbon in Vancouver with our friends Fighting for Ithaca and Love for Money. This show is going to be sick! We’re on right at 8:30, so don’t be late!
Also, we just booked another sweet show at the Roxy for July 21st. For those of you who were at the last one, you’ll know you won’t want to miss this!
And now here’s the other news: I’m in the drum showdown to be in Faber Drive, and you can vote for my video (we all had to videotape us playing part of a FD song) here:http://www.myspace.com/faberdrive . Your support would really mean a lot to me, and it only takes a second to do! Also, the video is on youtube, and it is already #42 on the top rated videos in Canada today! And just to be clear, this doesn’t mean that I’m leaving OSC! I love the band and the guys more than ever, and if I’m in Faber Drive, I WILL have to take time to tour and stuff, but when I’m around I’ll be playing with OneStarCity and pushing it like crazy.

I’m working my way up to Josh Freese’s level of salesmanship and marketing, but here’s an offer that I think is pretty cool.
We’re all set to play Left Coast Live, so for those of you who already plan on joining us, it’s just a little incentive to get your ticket now. And it may seem like kind of a weird offer, but things like this have a lot of sentimental value to me. Laying down the “Folks Like Me” solo was a cool moment that we worked out and recorded in my living room pretty darn quickly, and I think the strings deserve a more honorable home than the landfill.
