Sharonville Police plan to hold a news conference at 1 p.m. today to talk more about a school bus driver facing charges for driving while intoxicated.
Officers say 61 year old John Dalheimer crashed into two parked trucks around 6 p.m. Thursday night at Princeton High School. Dalheimer is a driver for Northwest Local Schools. He had brought students from Colerain Township to Princeton for a football game.
But when he crashed, Dalheimer was the only person on the bus and no one was inside the parked trucks. Dalheimer was not hurt.
Officers say he blew a .229 on a breathalyzer test and had alcohol and prescription drugs on the bus at the time of the crash. Dalheimer is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, child endangerment, possession of drugs, and open container.
